Julie Rose Clapton (b. 2001, Columbus, Ohio) is an artist based in England. She received her B.F.A. in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2023.

Her practice is grounded in care through material processes. She works in the realms of weaving, knitting, papermaking, performance and painting. Her work focuses on reciprocity, by sourcing and working alongside the community and individual farmers. She revisits traditional modes of fiber production to enhance communication lines between farmer and artist. Intertwining narratives while also recalling pagan rituals and stories that have historically encapsulated these symbiotic relationships.
